Oriana Siphanoum is a Laotian and Puerto-Rican artist, dancer, model, and activist based in New York City. She has had the opportunity to receive scholarships and has received prestigious awards like the 2019 NYU Tisch Dean Scholar, 2017 Presidential Service Award from President Barack Obama, the 2020 Presidential Service Award and 2021 Award for Outstanding Service for Health and Wellness from NYU President Andy Hamilton. On top of this, Oriana has had the opportunity to work with some of her favorite brands in the modeling world and has appeared everywhere from Super Bowl commercials to video collaborations with Dua Lipa. Oriana also aims to give back to communities like her own and help low-income BIPOC students have more access to arts and civic education. Oriana freelances as a content creator, focusing her work on the intersectionality of mental health, fitness, and body neutrality. Oriana is currently studying to be a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She hopes to be a role model for younger women of color; displaying that her authenticity is her activism.
