Meet Athena

Athena is a Greek-American writer whose work focuses on the environment, toxicity, gender, and health. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Athena feels most at home near bodies of water, from the Narrows to the Aegean Sea. Athena is a passionate advocate for environmental justice and community-based care & healing. Outside of work, Athena finds great joy in building community with other LGBT artists and activists of the diaspora. Athena loves to challenge a norm, and is proud to be a model living with diabetes.
