Meet Babou

Babou Sanneh is a first generation Gambian American Movement Artist, Creative Director, and Professional Dancer based in the Bronx, NY.

Creatively he has worked on projects with Burberry, Nike, Telfar, GQ, HBO, and more. Babou has a BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College SUNY, and has studied abroad in Berlin and Montréal. Babou has also completed programs with the Alvin Ailey School, the Martha Graham School and has been featured in films internationally.

Babou is passionate about community and collaboration, especially in creative spaces. Babou is looking to expand and further develop the creative space within the Bronx community.
