Val Pinnola

Meet Val

Valerie Pinnola is an actress, model, and artist. She was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey and comes from a family of transplanted Staten Islanders. She is of mixed Mediterranean and Caribbean descent. Val discovered her ability both on-stage and on-camera at an early age, having performed and received classical training in voice, dance and musical theater and attended a vocational academy for film and television production. She went on to earn a sponsorship to study architecture at Carnegie Mellon University's pre-college program and earned her bachelor's degree from Rutgers University on a National Merit Scholarship. At Rutgers, Val majored in broadcast journalism and art history, lived with and mentored exchange students as a Global Roommate, studied Mediterranean diet and lifestyle abroad in Crete, and performed with the University belly dance troupe. Valerie is especially proud of her prior professional experience and licensures as both a healthcare worker and child care provider. She attributes her ongoing success in the modeling industry to her creative edge, her passion for learning and her empathic nature. When she is off-the-clock, Val loves to meditate, spend quality time with loved ones, create her own recipes and venture outdoors.
