Meet Carol
Carol is a fine artist, senior art advisor, and educator based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She teaches in the graduate photography program at Parsons School of Design and works with Mayer of Munich, a glass and mosaic studio that fabricates large-scale public art projects around the world, giving her a global perspective on creativity and collaboration.
She maintains an active creative practice in both painting and photography, bringing a refined visual sensibility and strong understanding of composition to her work in front of the camera.
An engaged member of her community, Carol led the Lindley Murray Fund, providing grants to Black and Native American organizations. She also served as a Trustee of Friends Seminary, a private Quaker school her daughter attended for thirteen years, and currently serves on her condo board.
With over 30 years of yoga and meditation practice, Carol pairs this long-standing foundation with a recent commitment to weight training—an essential part of her approach to strength, longevity, and wellness. A passionate advocate for embracing gray hair, she is committed to redefining beauty standards for women at every stage of life.
Grounded, expressive, and deeply engaged in the arts, Carol brings authenticity, intelligence, and a distinctive presence to every project.
