Meet Shaniah

Born in Brooklyn, Shaniah Francis is a creative producer and strategist with Southern, Cape Verdean, and Trinidadian roots. As a Spelman College graduate with a background in sociology, anthropology, and philosophy, her research driven worldview informs how she shapes culture and narratives. A true serial hobbyist and athlete, she stays sharp and active through activities such as tennis, chess, dance, and Muay Thai, and she recently took up snowboarding. When she is not building cultural activations, writing original film concepts, or engaging in community initiatives; such as co-founding the HBCU Chess Classic. Francis brings movement, depth, and cultural fluency to every project she undertakes and every room she enters.
