Meet Silas

Silas was born and raised in Brooklyn.

Silas is conversational in Arabic, having studied the language intensively while living abroad in Jordan for 8 months in 2024.

Silas played baseball at Midwood High School and Club basketball at American University. In the winter he tries to get as many days of skiing in as possible. In his free time Silas is usually reading or spending time with family, friends, and his dog Stella.

Silas has interned with FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting), a nonprofit newsroom based in New York, and volunteers with the Arab American Association of New York in Bay Ridge.
